The Fever

Took the girls to Kansas City for the Justin Bieber concert and for some girl time and had an absolute blast!

First stop:  T Rex cafe for some dinner and dinosaur fun

 Next stop (10:30):  The Sheraton Hotel where we painted nails, drank hot chocolate and laughed a lot (and very loudly apparently, as we were notified by security TWICE to keep it down!!)

The girls both enjoyed some much needed girlfriend time!

 These gals couldn't have been any sweeter to be around! Love that they all had matching Justin Bieber shirts, skirts and polka dot socks!

 Even the mom's had JB t-shirts made!

 Great time with great friends and super kids!  Can't wait until next time!

Doggie Duty

Had another great opportunity to do a small part in saving a shelter dogs life a few Saturdays ago.  This time the little gal was going from somewhere in Georgia to Denver, Colorado.  Didn't get to keep the cutie overnight...just made a quick trip from Manhattan to Salina.  So awesome to know this sweet pup will have a chance at a happy life!

 

 

Top left is JC who drove her from Topeka to Manhattan, right is Grayson and Miss Lucy riding down I-70, bottom left is the blessed angel that drove FROM Denver to Salina to pick up Lucy and then drove her back to her new home!!  Happy tails, Lucy!

Frightfully Fun Times

Always love our annual neighborhood trick or treating with friends!!  Thankfully we are all done having children or Keely may need to add a few stairs!

Baby Lennon (6 weeks old) as a duck!  She made it trick or treating for about a half an hour...not bad!

 
Had to include the cute spider hands, candy corn foot and pic of Beckham and his daycare friends.  His babysitter is so awesome!  She not only helped him create these cute personal halloween crafts, but she also dressed and took all of them trick or treating in Aggieville!

Daddy and kids did manage to carve some pretty cute pumpkins and make yummy pumpkin seeds this fall too!

   

Halloween Happenings

Halloween was filled with costumes, games, a school parade, a historical figure presentation and halloween themed treats for both classrooms!

In 3rd grade you do a biography report and dress up as a historical figure.  This is Grayson as Jackie Mitchell. the female baseball player that struck out Babe Ruth and Satchel Paige...who knew???  And this is her awesome student teacher, Miss Francis and fabulously fun teacher, Mrs. Bammes!

Lennon 5 weeks

Lennon is 5 weeks old and holding her own at 8lbs 14 oz! 

 She drinks 3 oz of formula at a time and is an excellent nighttime sleeper.  

Most people still say she looks a lot like Wesley (and I totally agree).  She still has her angel kiss on the bridge of her nose and back of her neck.  Her hair may carry a bit of red (wishful thinking) like mine. She definitely let's us know when she is hungry and needs some attention.  I love me this baby girl!!

Bigger girl room

 With Baby Lennon's arrival, it required the moving of bedrooms, furniture and creating a bigger girl room for Grayson.

 She now sleeps in a new full size bed and is happy to be rid of the Pottery Barn matchy, matchy bedding she had for so many years.  This time she opted for a few floral patterns and turquoise walls.  Thanks to Dedra for making the cute pillow shams and pillowcases!  

Her other favorite items...the desk and furry chair.  She hasn't managed to do too much homework at the desk yet but she sure likes the cork board to hang all of her papers and pics on!
