There have been quite a few animal happenings around our house.
The sad news is that my beloved Bella was hit and killed by a car in front of our house in July. I found Bella as a kitten in a drain ditch at Boston Market in 2001when I was on my way back from a management meeting in KC for Victoria's Secret. She was a beautiful, loving kitty that would talk to me when I talked to her. I miss her sweet meow and gentle rubs.
And impulsively I couldn't let a dog in Houston die...she had hours to live and something about her face spoke to me. I reached out on Facebook to see if anyone would be heading from Texas to Kansas within that week. Sure enough a high school classmate responded and was willing to do whatever it took to get me our new dog.

She is talented and can crawl!
She is not completely potty trained and spends some time in her cage when she forgets that rule!
It took about 5 days for her to learn that Boston is a cool dude. Now if she would stop chasing the cats our lives would be much easier!
On another happy note...I have managed to sneak in one doggie transport this past month.
This is Freddy.
Freddy is completely sweet and totally deaf. I hope he finds his furever home soon!
